This engine produces up to 100 lb-ft. maximum torque, an increase of about 6 percent over the Twin Cam 96 engine to replace the standard for many of these models. The Twin Cam 103 is equipped with automatic compression release. There are dog tags in the derby cover, timer cover and adjusting ring air filter.
A security package that pairs of anti-lock brakes (ABS) with intelligent security system hands-free security fob proximity is available to all the 2012 V-Rod ®, Dyna, Softail ®, ™ Touring CVO. The safety package is standard equipment on CVO Road Glide models ™ and ® Ultra ® Electra Glide Ultra Limited, and Road King ® Classic. The security package is a factory installed option for all other models.
The Night Rod ® Special is updated with a new section of the tapered tail, lighter wheels, inverted front fork and better ergonomics.
