Harley-Davidson offers faster performance Big Twin 2012 Twin Cam 103 ™ drive system is standard on the Touring and Softail ® models of motorcycles and most of the Dyna ® motorcycle models. Harley-Davidson will offer two new models for 2012. The V-Rod ® 10th Anniversary Edition celebrates a decade of cruising for energy efficiency, while the new convertible is Dyna ® Switchback custom-touring bike with detachable hard saddle bags and windshield. In addition, the Night Rod Special has important news for 2012 with fresh body ergonomics and rider optimized. Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) TM launches new CVO Road Glide ® Custom, a limited production, touring performance of teachers.

A security package that pairs of anti-lock brakes (ABS) with intelligent security system hands-free security fob proximity is available to all the 2012 V-Rod ®, Dyna, Softail ®, ™ Touring CVO. The safety package is standard equipment on CVO Road Glide models ™ and ® Ultra ® Electra Glide Ultra Limited, and Road King ® Classic. The security package is a factory installed option for all other models.

The Night Rod ® Special is updated with a new section of the tapered tail, lighter wheels, inverted front fork and better ergonomics. Harley-Davidson celebrates a decade of cruising power with the V-Rod ® 10th Anniversary Edition of the motorcycle body gloss silver pearl evokes the anodized aluminum body of the original V-Rod model introduced liquid-cooled Revolution V-Twin engine in 2002. The new Dyna Switchback combines hard saddlebags and a windshield with precise handling and performance Twin Cam Dyna 103 chassis. Screamin 'Eagle Twin Cam 110 engine 110 cid (1803cc), rubber-mounted in the frame, has an output of 122 lb-ft. of torque at 3750 rpm. The engine is equipped with electronic sequential fuel injection (ESPFI) and electronic throttle control (ETC), and the transmission is mated to a 6-speed unit speeds.
