The CVO Road Glide Custom has a distinctive frame-mounted fairing that offers a lighter steering feel than a fork-mounted fairing, and incorporates double cabin lights and instrument panel-like. His Harley-Davidson Touring chassis has a single mast structure, backbone and swingarm rigid two-piece designed to provide responsive handling and long-haul durability. Geometry of the chassis and suspension are calibrated to deliver the secure handling and comfort. The manual adjustment of hydraulic rear shocks accommodate variable passenger and luggage load. An Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and cruise control are standard equipment.

Screamin 'Eagle Twin Cam 110 engine 110 cid (1803cc), rubber-mounted in the frame, has an output of 122 lb-ft. of torque at 3750 rpm. The engine is equipped with electronic sequential fuel injection (ESPFI) and electronic throttle control (ETC), and the transmission is mated to a 6-speed unit speeds.
New heavy intake vents air from the engine with an aluminum case and glossy black aluminum "trim" the details of an exposed air filter.

New high-performance system with amplified sound of 100 watts per channel (200 watts total) and two-way audio MTX, five seven-inch cowl-mounted speakers and two tweeters inch mounting board.
